I’m a simple man, show me a cigar that has an amazing-looking band on it and chances are ill smoke it. The Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 is a cigar that presents itself with a sense of being something higher than what it is.

Appearance:

Visually, the Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 is very appealing with its dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper you can see the toothy-ness of the leaf almost like a trademark the cigar feels like it has been wrapped in sandpaper. The construction appears solid, and the cigar feels substantial in the hand. The band design adds a touch of class, complementing the overall presentation. these cigars do not come in cellophane which aids their presentation. not every cigar has to have a smooth wrapper I am a fan of the appearance of this cigar

Construction and Draw:

The construction of the Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 is generally decent, of all the sticks that I tested they all had a consistent packing and construction. where this cigar fell flat is the draw I experimented with different cuts on this cigar and each cut gave me the same result, an extremely tight draw that took more effort than it was worth. I would caution people away from this stick unless they have something like the perfect draw tool.

Flavor Profile:

The flavor profile of the Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 Solid. this is a pepper bomb and I am here for it. On the initial light, you got a straight in-your-face spice note that lingered with you slight notes of wood, and a small amount of sweetness in the last third makes this a smoke that at the very least I can call interesting

Burn and Ash:

The burn of the Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 Was awful we can call it user error but to help me sleep better at night I’m blaming the cigar. the foot almost instantly wanted to canoe and this was a more than one-time thing I spent the night touching up and relighting all night. The ash on the other hand was the star of the show holding tight and staying relatively even the whole smoke it was a shame I had to knock it constantly to get it re-lit.

Overall Experience:

The Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 falls into the category of a Cigar I want to like but just don’t. While taste preferences can vary, others may find more enjoyment in this cigar than I did. However, considering its reputation and price point, there are other options available that may provide a more fulfilling and memorable experience.

Ultimately, the Tabernacle Havana Seed No.142 lacks the consistency and depth needed to earn a higher rating. While it may be worth exploring for those seeking an everyday smoke, it may not meet the expectations of seasoned cigar enthusiasts who are looking for a standout experience.
